Historic downtown Summerville will be transformed into an Independence Day street festival. Summerville D.R.E.A.M. (Downtown Restoration, Enhancement and management) will be hosting the annual "Red, White and Blue on the Green." There will be face painting and crafts for kids. There will be a dunk tank for adventurous adults. The ‘games wristband’ will include unlimited games, unlimited jumping in the jump castles and unlimited tries to hit the target and burst a water balloon…over someone’s head!!!! There will be live music and food vendors with scrumptious wares. Hot dogs, snow cones and elephant ears… just to mention a few.
