1: Park at Battery, White Point Gardens and stroll with my dog around historic downtown to Waterfront Park, Meeting, Bay, King and any side streets looking at the beautiful oaks and homes.

2: Nice lunch at Hyman's Seafood or Bubba Gumps which is(pet friendly) and can eat alfreco around Market while strolling around downtown.

3:Magnolia or Cypress Gardens when Azaleas are in bloom. Beautiful and both are also pet friendly.

4:Walk across Ravenel Bridge. Park on Mt Pleasant side. Has parking under the bridge, and walk or bike on the bridge which has excellent walk and bike lanes. The middle of bridge has magnificent views of harbor and Charleston and benches if you want to rest. Beautiful walk at night also and well lighted. No Pets allowed.

5: Fort Moultrie Museum on Sullivan's Island. Nice interesting museum

6:Isle of Palms for walk on beach. Has public parking and access to beach and some ocean front bars for a snack and beer.

7:Tour Nathaniel Russel House, Edmonston-Alston House. Both great houses that give you a good insight on the different styles of homes of Charleston you can tour while on walking tour of downtown.

8:Nice dinner at "Slightly North of Broad" or more casual "Shem Creek Bar and Grill" in Mt Pleasant.

9:City Market for shopping, nice sweetgrass baskets and lots of shops art galleries etc.

10:Visitors Center downtown. Great place to get started and plan trip and plenty of coupons.
