Poogan's Porch, located near the corner of Meeting and Queen, served the best biscuits! I love to make my own with White Lily flour and yeast, but these topped mine!! So light, fluffy, and just a touch of sweetness. My husband enjoyed the most amazing THICK pork chop, cut beautifully and cooked to preserve the juicy flavors. I munched down on buttermilk fried chicken served over a bed of mashed potatoes. My meal came with two pieces, but my tummy was full after one. Our server gave us his prompt attention to every detail, and our evening meal left us feeling delightfully pleased. I will return for those tasty biscuits!
